• Led the development team in charge of, among other projects, the redesign and implementation of the Neteller Digital Wallet using Java technologies, Tibco BusinessWorks, Microsoft SQL Server and Foundation framework.
• Worked directly with Product Managers to help set expectations, coordinated tasks and managed deliverables to ensure projects were completed efficiently, on time and within budget.
• Redesigned and implemented the new payment cards batch system reducing the daily processing of hundreds of thousands of transactions from 9 to 2 hours.
• Developed several third-party payment integrations which allowed our customers to deposit money to their digital wallets with real time or delayed options.
• Led the Prepaid development team through multiple successful projects such as the FIS card processor integration, redesign and implementation of the new Cards Admin application, the design and implementation of the Neteller Prepaid Mastercard physical and virtual products, and the redesign of the customer facing application.
• Participated in a multi-team coordinated effort to launch a series of products such as the Neteller US re-entry project and the customer service redesign application.
• Interviewed hundreds of Software Developers and Quality Assurance Analysts and all those hired succeeded to become productive members of our teams.
• Mentored several developers on both business and technical knowledge.

• Led the Graphical User Interface team, designing and implementing the front end for the PAS project. The PAS project, the latest generation for production accounting software, was commissioned by companies such as Encana, Devon, Husky and Talisman.
• Developed functionality within multiple teams covering areas such as well data analysis, upstream and downstream flows and registries across western Canada.
• Improved performance of JasperReports generated from up to a million records reducing processing time from 12 to 2 hours.
• Trained new developers on Agile Methodologies, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and User Interface standards and development.
• Converted the GUI test suite (approximately 800 test) from Watir to Watij in a couple days using a custom script, so that other developers could use Java instead of Ruby to write front end automation tests.
• Implemented hundreds of FITnesse tests using Ruby and Excel to test highly complex Oil & Gas accounting processes.

• Designed and implemented the Online Design Centre application for Pointe of View Developments to allow customers to customize their condos after the purchase.
• Gathered requirements from clients and suggested additional features.

• Managed the IT department under the supervision of the parent company IT Manager.
• Managed release schedules, new software implementation, hardware procurement and installation.
• Designed and implemented the new claims system using C# .Net, supporting the migration of the VB legacy systems to a more modern technology.
• Migrated the company databases from Access 97/2000 to MS SQL 2000. Due to the high success of this project I was tasked to do the same for the other companies under the Pacific Western Transportation Ltd umbrella.
• Designed and implemented the payroll system reducing the processing time from 2 days to 10 minutes.
• Oversaw the integration of a third-party GPS tracking system for the entire school bus fleet.

• Analyzed the data structure for the corporate databases and proposed improvements.
• Consulted on the decision to move to a new programming language, between Java and .Net C#, for the legacy applications.
• Improved the process for disabling past due laptop given to the field operators.
